MINI COTA (SPRAYING SYSTEM)

Mini Cota (Semi-Automatic Spray Coating Machine)/spray dryers is mainly designed to replace the conventional manual coating of tablets and granules. It is a rapid and uniform coating system and has many functional features and advantages.

It is a compact machine provided with a specially designed S.S. spray gun to provide atomized spray. This system is much more economical and more comfortable than the fully automatic version, which is approximately 15-20 times more expensive.

Mini Cota comprises a pressure vessel provided with an S.S. Jacket (for sugar coating) with thermostatically controlled heaters, safety valve, pneumatic stirrer (oscillating type), spraying nozzles, and compact control panel with a double-acting pneumatic cylinder for an intermittent spray of liquid and air both. You can adjust the timing of the spray cycle. We provide it with a filter cum moisture separator.

Bombay Engineering’sEngineering’s Mini Cota is comprised of a pressure vessel that can be provided with an S.S. jacket (for Sugar Coating) with controlled heaters, a safety valve, pneumatic stirrer (Oscillating type) spraying nozzles, and compact control panel with a Pneumatic cylinder for an intermittent spray with timer.

The vessel is filled with coating solution and pressurized by oil / moisture-free compressed air at a pressure of 3 to 4 Kgs/cm 2 to get the uniform atomized conical spray. The coating is done by spray guns, which are mounted on a heavy S.S. stand can be adjusted. The duration of air and liquid spray is controlled by a Digital Timer and Pneumatic cylinder through a solenoid valve.

AVAILABLE CAPACITIES: 25 Ltrs to 100 Ltrs sizes.

Features :

Provided with a pneumatic stirrer.
A specially designed pneumatic cylinder is provided, which avoids using a solenoid valve and makes the system flame-proof.
All contact parts are SS316 quality and mirror polished.

Operations :

The vessel is filled with coating solution and pressurized by oil/moisture-free compressed air at a pressure of 3 to 4 kg/cm² to get the uniform atomized conical spray. The coating is done by spray guns, which are mounted on S.S. heavy stand and can be adjusted horizontally, vertically, angularly. It can be swiveled too, if required. The duration of air and liquid spray is controlled through the electronic timer and double-acting pneumatic cylinder.

It is available with two spray guns mounted on S.S. heavy stand, which can be adjusted horizontally, vertically angularly, and can be swiveled, too.
It is provided with a pneumatic stirrer.
A specially designed pneumatic cylinder is provided, which avoids using a solenoid valve and makes the system flame-proof.
All contact parts are SS316 quality and mirror polished.
We mount spray guns on separate S.S. stands to keep that vessel away from the coating pan.
It is available in 10L, 25L, 50L, 100L & 200L sizes.

Features of GMP Model :

The solenoid valve is eliminated by providing a double-acting pneumatic cylinder for the operation of S.S. Spray guns with S.S. Body, making the system flame-proof.
The liquid flow and airflow are cut off simultaneously to avoid the solution’s drying at the tip of nozzles.
It is provided with one piece S.S. jacket with thermostatically controlled heaters for sugar coating.
